Prayer for Teachers

Father in Heaven, thank You for an awesome 1st week of school. Lord, no words can describe how amazing You are. You just keep on blessing us and extending Your unconditional love towards us. You kept our teachers and our children safe.

Now, Father, we know that all of our teachers are feeling overwhelmed because the pandemic numbers continue to increase. Some teachers are quitting because their classes are over flowing with students who refuse to wear mask. God, please touch the heart of their parents. Remind them that they are their brother and sister's keeper. Just like Jesus laid His life down for us, we should lay down our biased feelings and mask up for our teachers and our loved ones.

God, bless our teacher's finances. It is absolutely incredible to see how much they invest in our children, but yet, their pay does not reflect the value they bring to our community and families. Bless their families. So many times they leave their families to take care of our family. Lord, I read somewhere in Your word that says, "It's not by power nor by strength but by My spirit, says the Lord." So, I pray that You Ignite our teachers with Your spirit. Remind them that even when they feel alone, You are with them every step of way. Protect our teachers, O God. Allow Your Holy Spirit to rest in EVERY class room. I pray that our children feel peace every time they walk into their classroom. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
